This blog was created for a 30 Days Challenge we have at www.worth1000.com
The 30 days are now over but we try to keep going with at least one picture a week.
Gorgeous. I love the black and white one, as the glowing backlighting really does a good job to make it feel like she is moving towards some magical place. I think a slight crop from below might reduce the effect of her shoulder being so close to the camera, which makes her look rather muscled, for a lady. The colour one I find a bit disturbing since her arm seems a bit amputated as it goes out of the frame like that.
You have a very brave wife to pose daily and go along with your ideas. I like all the different styles and experiments. Out of both I prefer the B&W as the pose is more mysterious.
love the black and white one. As Kim suggests, perhaps a crop from the bottom as there is a wide-angle thing going on where her arm looks wider that it actually is. Still, beautiful work.
I like the top one most. Her pose makes it almost seem like she's dancing. Do you have a studio where you take the shots, or do you just find spots in the house that works?

I think your wife wearing the neckalace works well and enhances the overall effect - especially in the coloured shot.

I prefer the B&W shot. It almost looks like a close encounter with a glowing alien lifeform

BeantwoordenVerwijderenBoth of these are great! I do like the black and white one just a little bit more - it's kind of dreamy.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI also was thinking of dancing on the top one, and prefer that to the b&w. Very beautiful.
